Flipper Gap
Keep it out of the gap.
What it is
One pinball table, built to a real machine's proportions: a 27 mm ball on a 514 by 1067 mm playfield, tilted at 6.5 degrees. It has pop bumpers, three drop targets, a saucer, a loop around the top and a skill shot off the plunger.
A game is three balls, and a ball that drains in its first eight seconds of play is given back, once per ball. The table is painted as a mountain pass at dusk, with a river that runs into the gap between the flippers.
How to play
- Left flipperTap the left half
- Right flipperTap the right half
- Pull the plungerHold the right half
While a ball waits in the lane on the right, hold the right half of the screen to pull the plunger back, then let go. The lights beside it fill as it pulls.
On a desktop, Z or the left arrow works the left flipper, and / or the right arrow the right. Hold Space to pull the plunger back, then let go. Clicking the halves of the screen works too, and Escape or P pauses.
What isn't settled yet
There is no tilt or nudge, so a ball heading down the middle can't be shaken back, and there is no multiball: one ball on the table at a time. Your best score is kept on your device, without initials.

Flipper Gap went live as one pinball table at a real machine's proportions: a 27 mm ball on a 514 by 1067 mm playfield tilted 6.5 degrees, painted as a mountain pass at dusk, with the river running into the gap between the flippers. The night blues keep the silver ball easy to follow, and How to play explains the plunger, the skill shot and the loop in the words of whatever you are playing with.
