What it is

You drop onto a wreck with a finite amount of air. Everything worth having is down there, and every second spent reaching for one more crate is a second you don't have on the way back to the bell.

Cargo slows you down. That's the whole trade: the run that pays is the run that nearly doesn't make it.

How to play

  • SwimDrag / WASD
  • Take a crateSwim into it
  • Bank the diveReach the bell
  • Spend what you brought upBetween dives

On a desktop, W A S D or the arrow keys swim, and they read as a direction rather than a speed: the stick under your thumb on a phone is the analogue one, so the keyboard turns sharper and the stick eases.

Air is the clock

Your air is yours alone. Nothing another diver does spends it, and nothing you do reschedules anyone else. When it starts running low the game tells you plainly rather than hoping you notice a gauge.

Build Log

  1. Build 46

Divers killed by a spear vanished instantly, throwing away the clearest sign a hit had landed. Bodies sink now. It took two changes rather than one: both death paths hand the body over, and the routine that snaps every diver to its position each frame skips retired ones. With either missing, the sink runs and nothing moves.

  2. Build 44

Reshaped the opening. The first crate arrives sooner and the air warning states itself in words.

  3. Build 38

Fixed a fifty-second hole in the middle of a dive that seventeen green test suites had never noticed, because all of them asserted how a dive ended and none asserted what happened during it.

  4. Build 37

Rival divers closed to weapon range and then held position, which made them easy to hit and applied no pressure at all. They circle now, steering for a point pushed sideways along a ring around you. No damage or accuracy value changed. A stationary target is a solved one.
